Bloodworms are readily accepted as a natural prey item by nearly all fish

and are suitable for both freshwater and marine fish.

Our bloodworms (also commonly referred to as "midge larvae") are harvested from freshwater lakes.

Often used by fish breeders as a component of maturation diets. Recommended for marine species

such as cardinalfish, clownfish, damselfish, and wrasses. Great for cichlids and, of course, betas.

Bloodworms are harvested, immediately rinsed with chlorinated water, drained, and quick-frozen on shallow trays. They are not altered, cooked, irradiated,

or altered in any way, so as to preserve their structural integrity and attractability.
